Holy War in Sri Lanka: ISIS claims responsibility for Easter Attacks

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks carried out by suicide bombers on churches and hotels on Easter Sunday, that killed 310 people and injured more than 500.

Retaliation for the attack on a mosque in New Zealand was the reported reason behind the Sri Lanka killings.

Christians in Sri Lanka make up only about 7.4% of the local population. 70.2% of Sri Lankans are Theravada Buddhists, 12.6% are Hindus, 9.7% are Muslims (mainly Sunni).

One needs to ask this: will Sri Lanka rise up and fight back, or will they deal with the attack peacefully? Muslims in Sri Lanka have been fighting with Buddhists for a while now. IS this the declaration of a holy war?
