Will Dana White pick up this fight? Justin trained with Floyd Mayweather, former professional boxer with 50 wins and ZERO losses. He came out of retirement recently to fight Conor McGregor in a cross-promotion event in August 2017. Mayweather went on to win that fight, which generated more than $550 million dollars in revenue.
Tom Cruise was on his high school wrestling team, but suffered a knee injury his senior year and was sidelined from athletics. He auditioned for the lead in his high school’s production of Guys and Dolls, and got the role.
Is Beiber hanging up the mic for a chance at the UFC? He’d probably end up making more money in the long run, with Pay Per View earnings and publicity being far greater for one fight, than a months long tour.
Conor McGregor has stepped up to offer hosting of the event if accepted by Tom Cruise. Conor then sweetened the pot, by stating that he wants to fight Mark Wahlberg on same card as Justin Bieber vs. Tom Cruise.
One thing we don’t know is why Justin chose Tom as an adversary. Will Tom accept? This would be a fun show to watch, that’s for sure. Dana White should pick up these celebrity matches, maybe make it a regularly occurring special event. This would be a great way to introduce the UFC to the masses that have yet to enjoy seeing a TKO.
