The leader of California ANTIFA Joseph Alcoff has been linked to several democrats. He was responsible for attacking two marines and setting up protests outside of Tucker Carlsons house.
He was an advocate for legislation that would regulate payday lenders as the campaign manager for a liberal group called “Americans for Financial Reform.” He met with members of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from 2016 through 2018. House Democrats had him on their podcast. It appears they may have sought his endorsement on various policy items.
“The Consumer Bureau and Congress have in the past understood the way that payday lenders structure loans to catch Americans in a cycle of debt with exorbitant interest rates,” Alcoff said in the press releases. “It is unfortunate that some in Washington would rather open the loan shark gates than continue to think about sensible borrower protections. The SAFE Lending Act would put Washington back on track to stop the debt trap.”
Maxine Waters and Sherrod Brown were both connected to him.
A few months ago journalist Tim Poole covered Alcoffs beating of marines and broke down some of his antics.
He was charged with aggravated assault and several other charges along with two other ANTIFA members for attacking Marines in December mistakenly thinking they were Trump supporters.
