Kamala Harris started off as one of the front runners in the democrat primary. She polled at almost double digits (around 9 to 10 percent) when she first announced but her support has dwindled down to a pathetic 1% in New Hampshire. Beto O’Rourke was polling higher than Harris and had to pull out of the race recently.
Senator Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign continued its struggle to connect with voters in New Hampshire in recent weeks; with new polls showing the California lawmaker gaining just 1% of support from residents of the Granite State.
The latest survey from Quinnipiac shows former Vice President Joe Biden in the lead with 20% of support; followed by Elizabeth Warren at 16%, Pete Buttigieg at 15%, and Bernie Sanders at 14%.
Harris finished at the bottom of the list with just 1%.
“As for the bottom-tier, Quinnipiac finds Kamala Harris posting her worst polling result of 2019 in New Hampshire a couple weeks after the California senator fired her campaign staff and closed campaign offices in the state in order to redirect her diminishing resources to Iowa,” reports the National Review.
The poor showing comes days after Harris slashed staff and closed campaign offices in New Hampshire; a sign the campaign acknowledges their uphill battle throughout the state.source Hannity
