Decision made: Israel will bar Tlaib and Omar from visiting on Friday

Quick Look:
Israel Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to decline rep Omar and Rep Tlaibs visit to Israel due to racial tensions and anxiety they have stirred up with their constant anti Semitic behavior.
The trip, originally planned for Friday, has been put off.
Interior Minister Arye Deri has decided on Thursday not to allow pro-BDS congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-Michigan) and Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota) to enter Israel. The two congresswomen were expected to arrive on Friday, Channel 12 reported.
Their trip agenda had Israel concerned about the two reps’ possible motives for visiting.
The two are scheduled to visit the separation fence, ascend the Temple Mount accompanied by senior Palestinian Authority officials, and arrive in Bethlehem, Hebron and Ramallah. The concern in Israel is that an attempt to curb their entry to the Temple Mount accompanied by PA officials could create an incident that would damage Israelโs image.
Who could really blame Israel? The anti Semitic and insensitive things the two have said about the Jewish people and Israel are revolting.
Under a controversial law that Israel enacted in 2017, the state can prohibit from entering the country any foreigner who โknowingly issues a public call for boycotting Israel.โ Since then, the Interior and Strategic Affairs ministries have used the statute to deny visas to a handful of students, activists and artists upon their arrival to Israel.
They have stirred up problems here and can’t be trusted not to do the same there.
