Reports coming out of HKSTV Hong Kong Satellite Television are telling the world that North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong Un is dead. Adam Housley, former news correspondent first broke the story on Twitter.

Kim Jong Un, 36, recently underwent heart surgery, and only 3 hours ago Japanese media said Un was in a “vegetative state.” Things may have taken a turn for the worse.

As Adam Housley said in his Twitter feed, whether it turns out to be entirely true or not is in question, but some media sources are picking up the information.

Vice director of HKSTV Hong Kong Satellite Television told her 15 million followers on Weibo that her Kim Jong Un death claim was backed by a “very solid source.”

It has been rumored if Kim Jon Un dies, his sister will take the reign of rule.

From Taiwan News: Japanese media reports Kim in vegetative state

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Japanese media, citing the medical team treating North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, say the failure of initial surgery has left the 36-year-old in a vegetative state.

Amid conflicting reports about Kim’s health, Japanese weekly magazine Shukan Gendai reported on Friday (April 24) that a Chinese medical team member on the mission to North Korea briefly explained the situation to its senior writer, Kondm Daisuke.

The medical expert said during a visit to the countryside earlier this month, Kim clutched his chest and fell to the ground. A doctor accompanying Kim immediately carried out CPR and took him to a nearby hospital for emergency care.

The doctor also requested a medical team from Beijing for assistance. At the hospital, prior to the arrival of the Chinese medical team, the North Korean doctor performed cardiac surgery but there were complications due to the hereditary dictator’s obesity and the doctor’s anxiety.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported Beijing sent a delegation led by a senior member of the Chinese Communist Party’s International Liaison Department. The team left Beijing on Thursday for an unspecified reason, but which is believed to be providing advice on Kim’s health.

Daily NK, a South Korea-based website run by North Korean defectors, broke the news on Tuesday that Kim was recovering from a cardiovascular operation.
