NFL star DeAndre Hopkins of the Arizona Cardinals drove by a huge Trump Train Parade on his way to the stadium. Reports at the scene indicate he swerved at the Trump supporters and flipped them off in his Ferrari as he passed.
“It’s scary when they are coming up fast and swerving into you,” said April Garcia, who was also part of the Trump caravan. She said she saw the Ferrari allegedly driven by Hopkins speeding and creating a dangerous situation.
Garcia said that Hopkins wasn’t the only “intolerant” person to pass the caravan by Sunday, adding that people were throwing water and other objects at vehicles as they passed by.
The Cardinals have declined to release a statement about the incident or Hopkins’s involvement.
