#ObamaGate Trends on Twitter with more than 3.4 million Tweets; replaced by #TrumpGate with 740,000

Seems Twitter is showing their bias again, in an unsurprising turn of events. The hashtag #ObamaGate was trending with more than 2.4 million Tweets, now it has been replaced with #TrumpGate, which only has 750,000.

Of course, Twitter Trends are big news, popular topics that are Tweeted by many different people start “trends.” Clearly, #TrumpGate doesn’t deserve to be anywhere on the headlining trends, but there you have it.

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. We’ve written about censorship on social media several times.

They have even made #TrumpDeathtoll81k trend with only 12.6 thousand tweets
