Portland Oregon: March for Justice in honor of Jacob Blake.
At Duniway Park in Southwest Portland the March for Justice for Jacob Blake, organized by PDX Black Youth Movement, began with chants and songs. Of course, the snack van was there to “fill peoples’ tummies before they marched.”
PDX Black Youth Movement is a local Black youth-led activist group which has been organizing rallies and marches throughout the city since the death of George Floyd.
A couple young BLM members spoke on how racist Oregon is.
