Shake Shack Employees who poisoned Police : Police officers drinking Shake Shack milkshakes were sent to the hospital, after discovering someone had slipped some bleach into their ice cream treats.
“After a thorough investigation by the NYPD’s Manhattan South investigators, it has been determined that there was no criminality by shake shack’s employees,” Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison said in a tweet early Tuesday.
The case has been deemed unintentional, after claims were investigated that the cleaner used to clean the shake machine was not rinsed off properly.
Shake Shack Employees who poisoned Police
The three officers immediately noticed a funny taste when they sipped the drinks from the chain’s location on Broadway near Fulton Street shortly after 9 p.m. Monday.
Apparently a 6 hour long investigation was all it took to clear the workers of any wrongdoing.
Interestingly enough, the officers were there on protest detail.
The fast-moving story began around 9:30 Monday night. By 10:45, the Detectives’ Endowment Association, a labor union for NYPD detectives, put out a statement claiming that “three of our brothers in blue were intentionally poisoned.” Police everywhere, the statement said, are “under attack by vicious criminals who dislike us simply because of the uniform we wear.”
So cops get poisoned and families of criminals who attack police and get themselves killed get hundreds of thousands of dollars, even millions. Interesting world we live in.
