The Louisville Metro Police Department has blown the lid open on its investigation into the shooting death of Breonna Taylor, releasing thousands of documents that show images of the scene, interviews with the officers involved and a probe of the EMT’s boyfriend. It shows a much different side to Breonna Taylor than the liberal media has portrayed.
Breonna Taylor’s boyfriend told police they were ‘scared to the death’ when they heard banging on the door because they thought it was her other drug-dealing ex boyfriend.
The new documents reveal that police insisted that they knocked and announced themselves, but that Taylor’s boyfriend Kenneth Walker said that they only heard the knocking, and did not hear police identify themselves.
During the review of her boyfriend Kenneth Walker’s phone, cops found “numerous conversations about narcotic trafficking … as well as photos of Mr. Walker and Ms. Taylor posing with firearms,” a May 28 investigative report states.
The report includes attachments of images taken from the phone showing Taylor posing with an AR-15 and a picture of Walker and Taylor posing together with the assault rifle and another gun, which were both legally owned by Walker, according to his attorney Steve Romines. Another photo shows either Taylor or Walker with a handful of pills.
“The examination showed Walker was clearly trafficking in marijuana and prescription medication. The report documents numerous communications between Walker and other parties confirming the drug trade,” the document shows.
Taylor rented a car in 2016 that was used by her then-boyfriend, Jamarcus Glover. In December 2016, Fernandez Bowman was found dead in the car. He had been shot eight times.
“Investigators noted that Ms. Taylor denied any knowledge of the killing,” The Times reported. Investigators asked Taylor if she was involved in drug deals, according to The Times, an allegation she denied. Taylor also denied knowing Bowman, reported WKYT in August 2020.
