Rashida Tlaib’s recent Anti Semitic stunt is not fooling anyone. Under the guise of political activism, she planned an itinerary with fellow Congresswoman, Ilhan Omar, that was sponsored by a terrorist organization.

The trip was sponsored by the Palestinian Initiative for the Promotion of Global Dialogue & Democracy, better known as Miftah.

Despite billing itself as a peaceful organization dedicated to promoting Palestine’s democratic institutions, Miftah for years has carried notable ties to terrorist sympathizers, has openly accused Israel of atrocities and supports the boycott of Israeli products.

Let’s start with the organization sponsoring the trip. Miftah, a Palestinian advocacy group, has been linked to terrorist organizations in the region and regularly promotes anti-Semitic doctrines, like the “blood libel,” which claims “the Jews used the blood of Christians in the Jewish Passover.”
Miftah also supports Palestinian terrorists, such as Wafa Idrees, one of the first female Palestinian suicide bombers who blew herself up and killed at least one, injuring 150 others. In a January 2017 interview, founder and chair of the Miftah board of directors Hanan Ashrawi described Idrees as “the beginning of a string of Palestinian women dedicated to sacrificing their lives of the cause.”

It gets worse. Miftah published a Neo-Nazi article that describes a “white racist” as “any racially conscious White person who looks askance at miscegenation or at the rapidly darkening racial situation in America.” It goes on to claim Jews control the media in America and thus public opinion. “And who are these all-powerful masters of the media?” asks the author “As we shall see, to a very large extent they are Jews. … The preponderance of Jews in the media is so overwhelming, however, that we are obliged to assume that it is due to more than mere happenstance.”

The only thing that was not planned during the trip was actual government work; they scheduled no meetings with Israeli or Palestinian officials.

  • Omar said U.S.-Israel relationships are “all about the Benjamins,” implying Jewsih Americans “pledge allegiance to a foreign country.”
  • Tlaib has said Jewish members of Congress “forgot what country they represent.”
  • Tlaib wrote a column for Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan’s blog; notorious anti-Semitic bigot, who compares Jews to termites
  • Both Omar and Tlaib support the anti-Semitic global campaign to boycott Jewish businesses, institutions and individuals in Israel. The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign promotes economic warfare as a means to bring about the eventual destruction of the Jewish state.
  • Omar has continually expressed her support for the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, both considered Terrorist Organizations in many countries, and both which wish death openly upon infidels and Jews alike.

Donald Trump weighed in on this one:

The decision to Block the two members of Congress actually made by Interior Minister Arye Deri and was announced earlier Thursday by deputy foreign minister Tzipi Hotovely. This came despite prior reassurances that the congresswomen would be allowed into Israel.

Hotovely said publicly, “Israel has decided we won’t enable the members of Congress to enter the country. We won’t allow those who deny our right to exist in this world to enter Israel. In principle, this is a very justified decision.”

If you remember, back in July, Omar and Tlaib were among 17 members of Congress who voted against a resolution condemning the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

Omar and Tlaib’s proposed itinerary read like a laundry list of provocative actions designed to intentionally stoke ethnic and religious tensions. Their rumored demand to pray alongside leaders from the Palestinian Authority at the Temple Mount – Judaism’s holiest site and also the location of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third-holiest site in Islam – could have incited a riot and kicked off a round of deadly violence.

Lest we forget, the Second Intifada began with calls for violence following former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s visit to the Temple Mount in 2000. More than 4,000 people were killed in the ensuing weeks after Palestinian leaders unleashed a deadly wave of suicide attacks.

Omar and Tlaib also reportedly intended to visit the security fence separating southern Israel from Hamas-controlled Gaza, where terrorists recently launched explosive incendiary balloons towards Jewish communities. The security fence is among the most dangerous hotspots in the region. A visit by well-known foreign politicians would have required significant security resources.

When initially denied access, Tlaib then wrote a plea, stating she wished to go visit her ailing grandmother, whom she’d apparently never had been bothered to meet until now. Granted access for “humanitarian reasons,” she then changed her mind and decided not to go after all. A few hours later, she changed her mind again.

WHAT is going on with Tlaib? Given her itinerary, and her past history, it is clear her only intentions were to call upon her Palestinian brothers and sisters for support regarding the BDS movement, and her sheer hatred for Israel.

Her itinerary for the trip to Israel is like someone who decides to visit Poland and does nothing but advocate for the Nazis, visit concentration camps, and buy Hitler memorabilia while they’re there.

Nobody is buying it, Tlaib. Nobody.
